You think being a saint is all about praying day and night, eating grass, and being, you know… boring? Ha! I’ve got a story for you. And it's way cooler than you could possibly imagine.

My "Dark" Side and Realizing I Needed a Change

To be honest, in my youth, I was far from saintly. Just a regular kid, kidnapped by pirates, sold into slavery in Ireland. Scary? You bet! Doubts, despair, resentment towards the whole world – that was my daily "diet." I herded sheep, froze, starved. And while my sheep munched on grass, I'd sit there thinking, "Why me? Why is this happening? Is this all there is to my life?"

And that's when, on those cold hills, I realized: something's off. I couldn't live like this anymore. I felt these "snakes" coiling inside me – snakes of fear, snakes of resentment, snakes of self-doubt. These were my limitations, my inner chains. You know what I mean? I bet you've got your own share of these "snakes" too – they sit quietly, and then sometimes they just pop out, ruin your mood, mess with your life, keep you from moving forward. They're just negative clutter that builds up. Admit it, got any of those?

The Path to Clearing My Mind

I realized that to truly be free, I couldn't just pray. I needed to achieve true clarity of thought. Imagine: your consciousness is like a beautiful garden. For flowers of joy, peace, and success to grow there, you first need to pull out all the weeds – all those old fears, grudges, beliefs that were pushed on you, and all that unwanted mental baggage that keeps you from being happy. It was time for a serious Mental Detox.

And so, I started pulling them out. One by one. It wasn't easy, oh no! But with every "weeded-out snake," with every piece of negative clutter removed, I felt lighter, brighter, with greater Mental Clarity. Those "snakes" that legends later claimed I drove out of Ireland – those were, first and foremost, my own inner restrictions. I was literally cleaning my head of everything that held me back. I had my own "special tool" for it. Intuition? Divine providence? You'll find out soon enough.

The Subconscious: My Best Servant and Ally

I made a huge discovery. My subconscious! It's just an amazing thing! It remembers absolutely everything that's ever happened to me – every experience, every thought, every fear, every decision. All the connections between all my states, beliefs, problems – it knows it all!

I realized my subconscious is my most powerful helper, my personal genie that grants wishes. And it's waiting for my instructions! It would be a sin not to use such a gift! It’s like having the smartest, hardest-working servant who’s just waiting for your orders. Only tell it precisely what you want, and it’ll get it done.

I started giving my subconscious "instructions." Very clear and specific. "Get rid of my fear of loneliness," I'd say. "Remove my blockages and doubts about my mission," I'd ask. "Find the strength for Personal Transformation and overcoming all difficulties," I'd command. And the subconscious… it delivered! It started the process, and I watched myself change.

Results and Transformation or How I Became a Saint

My life changed. I gained such Mental Clarity, such peace, and such true liberty and strength that I could only have dreamed of before. My mission became clear. My words carried weight. I became the Patrick you know – a person who brought light and faith, a person who inspired thousands. But this Personal Transformation was only possible after I sorted things out in my head.

I remember, even before I returned to Ireland with my mission, the local druids were already predicting things. They spoke of a "bald-headed one who would come from across the mad sea, with a cloak with a hole for his head and a crooked staff." Think that's just a coincidence? Ha! My uncluttered mind had already begun to shape events, to attract them. I became the fulfillment of that prophecy!

Or here's another story. It was Easter, and I decided to light my Paschal fire earlier than the pagan king and his druids were going to light their sacred bonfires. Oh, the anger that erupted! One of the druids, Lochrú, began threatening me. I just looked at him and wished that his anger and all that old energy, that mental clutter, would simply disappear. And what do you think? He fell down and died. No, I didn't kill him! It’s just that all that negative energy boiling inside him turned against himself. My pure intention and internal liberation were so powerful that reality simply couldn't stand against it. Old ways, old beliefs – they just crumbled to dust.

And remember the legend that my companions and I once turned into deer to avoid capture? That's not a literal transformation either, my friends! It was a feeling of such spiritual freedom and harmony, that we became invisible to those who wished us harm. Our minds were so pure and focused, with such Mental Clarity, that we literally dropped out of their perception. We were there, but to them - we were just passing deer. That's what working with your subconscious can do!

Sainthood isn't about an unattainable ideal. It's about the courage to look inside yourself, clear out all the unnecessary stuff, undergo Personal Transformation, and make your subconscious a loyal ally. And then you'll surprise yourself with what you're capable of!
